NESSO Italian Kitchen Reopens at the Alexander

Indianapolis, IN, October 13, 2020 --  Nesso Italian Kitchen reopens to the public today after closing in March due to COVID-19 mandated shutdowns.  Nesso, Italian for “connection,” welcomes guests to enjoy an Italian-inspired dining experience in downtown Indianapolis.  Located at 339 S. Delaware Street, Nesso resides in the downstairs space of the Alexander Hotel.

Nesso, owned and operated by Cunningham Restaurant Group, features freshly-sourced ingredients, Italian-influenced wine, and spectacular hospitality that connects the Circle City to regions across Italy.

“Connection is at the core of all of our CRG restaurant locations.  What better way to connect than over a meal shared with friends or family?  We are excited to be able to reopen Nesso and reconnect with our Indianapolis guests while sharing Italian-inspired menus and ingredients,” said Mike Cunningham, President and CEO of Cunningham Restaurant Group.

Offering dinner service Tuesday through Saturday, reservations are recommended.  Its menu features pasta, seafood, locally-sourced meats and vegetables, all artfully composed into Italian-inspired dishes.  The menu is crafted collaboratively by CRG’s own Executive Chef, Carl Chambers, and the Nesso Culinary team.  Traditional Italian desserts such as gelato, tiramisu, budino and affogato finish out the meal.  Nesso also boasts a full-service bar, ready to welcome guests with our wide selection of wine and spirits.

The menu offers delectable courses sized to share as a table.  The wine list provides a wide range of bottles and glasses suited for both novice and expert wine lovers.  Nesso’s wine program is led by Sommelier and Executive General Manager Roddy Kirschenman. Roddy brings years of experience, a passion for the community of wine, and connection to the service industry, all of which are sure to amplify the Nesso experience.

In addition to dining in, Nesso reopens with a Devour-style carryout option available daily consisting of  bread, salad, and a dinner entree with the added option to purchase wines by the bottle.
