Latin-Inspired Restaurant, Livery, opens in Eddy Street Commons

South Bend, Ind., August 27, 2018 – On August 27, Livery opens to the public in the new Eddy Street Commons at 1234 North Eddy Street.  Livery is a neighborhood gathering place with a Latin influenced chef-driven menu and Cunningham Restaurant Group’s first location in the South Bend community.

“We are excited to venture into northern Indiana, and the South Bend area in particular, with Livery.  This concept has been quite popular in the Indianapolis downtown market, and we see it as an excellent fit for Eddy Street as well.” said CRG President and CEO Mike Cunningham.

Livery’s ambiance brightly pops of color and geometric decor.  This bright and open dining space, designed by Phanomen Design, is indicative of the cuisine guests can expect to see offered-- creative, fun, and tasteful.  Guests can also enjoy outdoor patio seating while they dine.

Livery sports a fully stocked bar with an expansive tequila and cocktail list, top-shelf spirits, wine, and beer. Housemade specialty margaritas are served as the signature cocktail.  The menu features empanadas, ensaladas, ceviche, asado (barbeque roasted meats), and other flavorful Latin dishes. Every dish is carefully constructed with the freshest ingredients. Rounding out each meal are Latin-influenced desserts such as churros, flan, and tres leches cake along with a variety of ice cream flavors.

CRG is known for developing a variety of restaurants, each with its own distinctive character and dining experience. Livery South Bend is the second Livery location in CRG’s repertoire.  The first is located in Indianapolis off trendy Mass Ave in a restored 1890’s building that once stabled horses as the city’s livery.

Menu and location details can be found at the Livery South Bend Website.  Eddy Street Commons, developed by Kite Realty, gave South Bend a new lease on life by attracting retail and dining locations to the area.

Livery South Bend marks restaurant number 27 for the Indianapolis-based Cunningham Restaurant Group with locations in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.  CRG will open three more locations in 2018 and current concepts include BRU Burger Bar, Mesh, Stone Creek Dining Company, Boulder Creek Dining Company, Charbonos, Union 50, Moerlein Lager House, CafĂ© 251, Vida, Provision, Rize, and Tavern at the Point.
